Dr. Pailey, the recipient of the 2018 Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in the category of Academic Research and Education, brought her expertise to the classroom. The author’s unique approach blends storytelling with critical lessons on transparency, accountability, and the importance of standing up against corruption.

During the visit, organized by The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption center Qatar and the anti-corruption agency in Uzbekistan Dr. Pailey interacted with the students, fostering an engaging dialogue about the impact of corruption on society and the pivotal role children play in building a corruption-free future. The captivating narratives of ‘Gbagba’ and ‘Jaadeh’, with the main characters Sundeymar and Sundeygar, provided a relatable context for the students, making complex issues accessible and inspiring positive change.

Dr. Pailey’s visit was part of her visit to Tashkent to take part in the Integrity Champions Forum, the first meeting of the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award Winners Network.
