the Ministry of Justice of Rwanda and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Kigali, 10th December 2019: As part of ongoing efforts to build capacity in support of the fight against corruption, the Ministry of Justice of Rwanda and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide a cooperative framework within which they can develop and implement activities. This MoU will remain in force for three years but can be renewed through a further MoU or through an exchange of letters.

In the framework of this MoU, the areas for collaboration which are expected to be realised include:
• Capacity building in anti-corruption;
• Training of trainers;
• Transparency;
• Accountable and inclusive institutions;
• International law;
• Sustable development in anti-corruption.

A specific agreement will be signed for every specific area of cooperation to agree on technical and financial settings.
